Welcome to one of
Austin's oldest
continuously operated home satellite system dealerships. I got
started in 1983 putting
10 ft. fiberglass dishes in the backyards of people no longer satisfied
with the 4 or 5 channels their antennas brought in. In those days
a
satellite system cost $5000.00 but at least HBO was free. A lot
has changed. Now satellite systems are free but you pay for HBO
and all those other "cable channels". This site is dedicated to
an honest comparison between Time Warner "Digital Cable" and the Dish
Network "Digital Home Advantage" satellite service. Obviously I
am from the satellite world so I know a lot about that. My cable
information comes from Time
Warner's web site and from conversations with their sales reps on
the
phone at 485-5555. I want this to be completely accurate so if
